Fortnite And PUBG Players Are Suggested Not To Update iOS 13

Apple’s iOS is finally here. People are happy due to additional and upgraded features. However, some bugs are present in iOS 13.0. Apple tried to postpone this release for fixing the bugs but could not. Those who play Forntite and PUBG on mobiles and are apple users can face issues. For instance, they will not be able to play due to a problem regarding touch-based shooters. Let us discuss issues in PUBG and Fortnite with coming with iOS 13.

Moreover, these are the most played games nowadays. The players are hugely dependent on the smartphone’s touch UI. Usually, the hand handles the controls. The issue regarding gaming with iOS 13 is that a three-finger press and hold gesture was launched for granular text editing options.

iOS 13 x PUBG & Fortnite

After the release of iOS 13, there were complaints from players regarding this gesture. Both games rely on the third person’s views. It also counts keeping only two fingers dragging and tapping on the screen. But, the third finger performs other in-game functions. Thus, the user uses it as an option.

But now, after this update, it will open the text editing bar. It is very disturbing for the players. Further, these are the serious games where one can not afford to swing the menu when fighting with another player.

Statement Issued by Tencent

Not only this, the issue is taken seriously by Tencent, the PUBG Mobile developer. He issued a following statement.

We are aware of an issue for players who upgraded to iOS 13.0, where touching the screen with 3 fingers will trigger an iOS function and interrupt the game.

We suggest players who play the game with 3 or more fingers do not upgrade to iOS 13.0 until this issue is resolved.
