Ever since its release, Fortnite has roared right up to the top of the gaming world. The obsession and popularity the game has received is quite overwhelming. Furthermore, Fortnite has already announced that an android version of the game will be released somewhere around September. In regard to that, a list of compatible devices for Fortnite Android has been released.
One would think that a flagship chip set and an abundance of RAM would be essential. However, Fortnite mobile has been quite humble in its requirements. For example, the Moto E4 Plus, which has only 3 GB RAM, quad core processor and MT6737 chip set, is a compatible device.
There are some surprise omissions. Devices which are not compatible with the Fortnite Android version include Huawei’s P20 series, the Essential phone, the LG G7, HTC devices, majority of Nokia phones, the OnePlus series, entire Xiaomi devices and Sony’s new flagship devices.
Fortnite Android: Which Devices are Compatible
- Samsung Galaxy A5/A7/J7 and J7 pro/note 8/ S7 series/S8 series/ S9 series/On7
- Huawei Mate 10/Mate 10 pro/Mate 10 Lite/Mate 9/Mate 9 pro/P 10/P 10 plus/P 10 Lite/P 9/P 9 Lite/P 8 Lite

Do not lose hope if your device is not mentioned above. Fortnite has listed ‘Others’ as an option on its website. In addition, the game won’t be coming out until the end of September hence there is a good chance of the devices missing out above to still become compatible.
A Perk for Those who Purchase Samsung Note 9
Rumors suggest that Note 9 users will be able to avail the game before anyone else. Most likely, Samsung Note 9 will have exclusive rights of downloading Fortnite for 30 days after the device releases. Only after that will the game become available to other android users. Note 9 is expected to out on 24th August which means Fortnite android will be widely available at the end of September. So if don’t want to wait that long, you might as well purchase a Note 9 and benefit from this exclusive offer.
