Play as Rumi, Mira, and Zoey: Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters Arrives in Fortnite
Netflix and Epic Games bring KPop Demon Hunters into Fortnite with a new Demon Rush mode, exclusive character skins, and creator tools for fans.

Netflix and Epic Games are joining forces to bring one of streaming’s flashiest franchises into the world of battle royale gaming. KPop Demon Hunters, the high-energy, monster-slaying hit film from Netflix, is now officially part of Fortnite, offering fans a new way to engage with their favorite demon-slaying idols.
A New Demon Rush Mode
The collaboration kicks off with a limited-time event called Demon Rush Mode, available till November 1. Players can squad up with HUNTR/X, the film’s stylish demon-fighting squad, to defend the mystical land of Honmoon from endless waves of faceless enemies.
Gamers can step into the shoes of fan-favorite characters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey, each coming with themed outfits, accessories, and playful in-game items including a spicy ramyeon cosmetic that nods to the film’s Korean roots.
Epic Games teased that the mode is designed to feel like “a concert, a fight, and a festival all at once”, mirroring the K-pop-meets-action style that made the movie a global streaming sensation earlier this year.
Fan Creativity Gets the Spotlight
Beyond gameplay, the partnership is opening the doors for community creativity. Fortnite creators can build and publish their own custom games using official KPop Demon Hunters assets licensed from Netflix. This means player-made worlds, quests, and challenges can carry the look and feel of the film, potentially sparking a wave of fan-made spinoffs inside Fortnite’s creator ecosystem.
By bringing KPop Demon Hunters into Fortnite, we’re not just offering skins, we’re giving the community a sandbox to create new experiences inspired by the movie.

Why This Matters
The collab marks another step in Netflix’s growing gaming ambitions. While the streamer has launched mobile titles based on its original IPs in the past, embedding its content into Fortnite, a global gaming giant with over 230 million registered players, represents a new kind of crossover reach.
For Epic, the partnership reinforces Fortnite’s role as a cultural hub where music, movies, and gaming collide. Previous collaborations have included Marvel superheroes, Star Wars events, and even Ariana Grande concerts. With KPop Demon Hunters, the company is tapping into the fast-rising global K-pop wave to keep players coming back.
Crossovers like this highlight how entertainment boundaries continue to blur. A movie that blends K-pop and monster action is now a video game event where fans can not only play but also create their own versions of the story. If successful, it may set a new template for how streaming IPs evolve beyond the screen.
And with Halloween around the corner, the timing couldn’t be better: demon battles, glowing costumes, and music-driven chaos feel right at home in Fortnite’s seasonal lineup.
