Rumor: Samsung to Delay Galaxy Fold Launch in Smaller Markets

We have been listening from quite some times that Samsung Galaxy Fold launch is imminent. But the phone does not launch in any market yet. Previous reports claim that Galaxy Fold will launch very soon, most probably, in August. However, there is bad news as well for those in smaller markets. The latest report revealed that the foldable phone will in the US, South Korea, Germany, France, India and the UK. The smaller markets still need to wait more to get the company’s first foldable phone.

Samsung Galaxy Fold will Launch in Big Markets First

This is based on firmware files for the Galaxy Fold units. Earlier reports claim that Samsung was developing localized versions for more markets. However now,  Italy and the Netherlands are no longer getting updated.

The Galaxy Fold phone features two displays. There will be a 4.6-inch 840 x 1960 screen on the outside and a 7.3-inch 1536 x 2152 flexible display on the inside when unfolded. The handset will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Furthermore, it will have a 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Spec-wise the phone is just awesome.

There is still no official relaunch date for Galaxy Fold. But we hope that it will launch very soon, most probably on August 7. There is also word whether the phone will launch in Pakistan or we still need to wait more to get this phone.
