Samsung Reportedly Working on another Galaxy Home Smart Speaker
Samsung first announced the Galaxy Home in August as part of its Galaxy Note 9 press launch. However, the Galaxy Home Smart Speaker has not yet available in the market. Now, some rumors suggest that the company is working on another Galaxy Home Smart Speaker. However, the new model will be cheaper than the previous one.
The Cheaper Samsung Galaxy Home Smart Speaker will Launch in 2019
According to SamMobile, this second smart speaker has the model number SM-V310. The Smart speaker will be available in black color. Other than that, no further information regarding the hardware is available now. However, it will be a smaller and cheaper version of Galaxy Home, so it may pack fewer microphones and premium features.
The first Galaxy Home Smart Speaker has some high-end features, including eight far-field microphones, Harman AKG speakers and a feature that will allow it to detect where you are in the room so it can send audio directly to you. It is quite similar to Apple’s expensive HomePod. Also, the new Home Smart Speaker will be the rival of Google Home and Amazon Echo. Moreover, both Galaxy Home smart speakers will use Bixby digital assistant for voice commands.
Hopefully, Samsung will showcase the device at CES 2019. We may also get more information regarding price and features at the event too.
