Samsung is all set to launch the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series at its upcoming Unpacked event in January.  The series is expected to introduce four Galaxy S25 models. Now, you must be wondering which is the fourth one. According to some teasers, Galaxy S25 Slim will join the flagship family, however, its release timeline might differ from the rest of the lineup.

The Galaxy S25 Slim will reportedly arrive later in the year, unlike the other S25 models set to launch in January. Insights from the latest One UI 7 beta, based on Android 15, also reinforce this speculation. The beta includes a list of US carrier-specific devices slated for launch, but the upcoming Slim’s model number is notably absent. This aligns with earlier rumors suggesting a second-quarter (April to June) launch for the device.

The S25 Slim is anticipated to boast impressive specifications. It will reportedly sport a 6.66-inch display, offering a sleek form factor without compromising screen size. The camera setup will be particularly exciting, with a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide camera, and a 50 MP telephoto lens capable of 3.5x optical zoom.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset will power it, ensuring top-tier performance. Moreover, a substantial 4,700 mAh to 5,000 mAh battery will come with it, promising excellent battery life even with demanding usage. Galaxy S25 Slim may not launch alongside the initial S25 lineup however, its specifications suggest it will be worth the wait.

Samsung aims to produce an initial 3 million units of the slim model highlighting a strategic move to test market response before scaling up production.
