Game Awards 2018 Nominations Announced-Vote For Your Favourite Game

As 2018 is about to end, it’s time to start making up Best of the Year lists. To that end, The Game Awards have announced its 2018 nominees. Among Game Awards 2018 Nominations, God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 lead the race with eight nominations. Moreover, Spider-Man lags slightly behind with seven. There’s also some surprises on the list – 2D indie platformer Celeste picked up four nominations, as did the divisive Detroit: Become Human.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a Western-themed action-adventure video game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. At first sight, the game looks overwhelming but actually, it is interesting.

Fans can talk to Amazon Alexa to vote for specific categories, and also use their voice to vote via The Game Awards action, which works with the Google Assistant.

In an industry-first, gamers will be able to help select the winners in all categories of The Game Awards by voting for their favorites in the official The Game Awards Discord server (discord.gg/thegameawards). The server, which is open for fans to join now, will be the place to get show info before, during and after the awards. Voting is officially open in-server on November 13 and run to December 5.
