Go Auto-Driven by Tesla’s New self-Driving features. Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that the company will be introducing Auto-driving capabilities coming December. Buyers of  Tesla’s Model S and Model X cars will  be soon be able to go Auto-Driven this December by Tesla’s New self-Driving features.

Go Auto-Driven by Tesla’s New self-Driving features

Teslas future cars will be integrated with an upgraded version of Autopilot, which practically allows for full driving autonomy.

The current system will be upgraded to

• 8 cameras
• 12 supersonic sensors
• extensive processing power.

This hardware will have an inbuilt feature set called “Enhanced Autopilot”which allows for

• automatic lane changing,
• keeping within a lane,
• matching speed to traffic conditions,
• automatic exiting the freeway when the destination is approachable,
• self-parking when you spot a parking place, and many more

Coming 2017, the company hopes to achieve “Level 5” autonomy,  meaning

Tesla cars should be able to drive themselves on every road and in all weather conditions.
