This week, the LG  G8 ThinQ and K40 and the Nokia  3.2 and 4.2.  are the new phones they are coming with the button. The upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G and Mi 9, as well as new phones from Vivo (that also include the Vivo V15 Pro) and TCL, will also come with a dedicated Assistant button. According to Google, soon this feature will be offered by over 100 million devices.

Along with this dedicated button, Google can also create a few new features into the Android  OS, that will make it easier to introduce some Assistant features which were a few taps away. Only a single tap on the button will open the assistant.

However, a  double tap will open the Assistant’s visual snapshot feature which gives you information about your day and location.  If you press the button for a long time, it will activate a walkie talkie feature.
