Google Chrome Beta App For Android Gets Battery Saving Feature

A few days back, Google Chrome for Android received a new update. The update brought some significant changes and features for the users. The update included a password manager that creates strong passwords and allows the users to look up stored passwords as well. In addition to that, Google Chrome Beta App also got updated with a battery saving feature.

Google Chrome Beta App Received A New Update

The update also added a dark mode setting with three options that are described as follows:

  • The default setting keeps Google Chrome on Light Mode until the Battery Saver is enabled.
  • Light Mode keeps the usual black text on white background regardless of if the Battery Saver is on.
  • Dark Mode has the white text on a black background.

We all know that the dark mode theme is getting popular and demanded feature for Android users day by day. That’s why so many apps are now introducing the dark theme for their users. Android Q is also working on a system-wide dark theme that is expected to work great.

Moreover, Google Chrome 74 beta version also got the support of dark mode for Windows. The Chrome browser is not going to automatically load its darker-colored theme. However, if users want to switch on “Dark” then they have to visit the platform’s settings. Chrome will transform into charcoal when you switch on the dark mode.
