Now, it has introduced a time-saving trick for its Google Docs App. Google has rolled out “.new” links that will help the users to instantly create new files.

This new change is quite welcoming as it is the quickest way to make new Docs, slides, sheets, and forms. The company introduced its  “.new” domain to instantly create a new file across any of these services. Now, you can even bookmark the domains to use as shortcuts. This will help you to get to the same blank document with just a click. Before this update, we have to follow the steps written below in order to make new files:

• Head to Google Drive
• Click the “new” button
• Select the service you want to use

Now you don’t have to go through all the above steps. All you have to do is just type “doc.new” to get started in a new Google Doc. You can make any new file by just typing commands like sheet.new, spreadsheet.new, site.new, website.new, slide.new, deck.new, presentation.new, form.new and so on.
