Rebecca added:

“The story of your family history, the story of your favorite hiking trip. It could be anything. It doesn’t have to be profound.

To narrate the stories of communities such as Yanomami people, Google and Partners used 3D cameras to encapsulate satellite images with videos and texts.

Rebecca did not disclosed the budget for the project but she threw the idea of advertising on Google Earth. She said Google want people to enjoy not to earn profit from this project.

Rebecca said:

“Google Earth is our gift to the world. “In terms of budget, Google has nice revenue from advertising, and not everything Google does has to make money.”
