Google Introduces the App Defense Alliance to Prevent Malicious Apps
Google has introduced the App Defense Alliance to check the bad apps even before they hit the Play Store. This feature runs a safety check on apps before they are downloaded. It also warns users in case it discover a harmful app and remove any malware-laden apps it finds on an Android devices. Google Play Protect scans the Play Store and flags malicious apps, while the App Defense Alliance is doing a thorough scan of the apps before they are listed on the Play Store. So it reduces the chances of downloading any such offensive apps accidentally.

Google made App Defense Alliance in a collaboration with three companies they are ESET, Lookout, and Zimperium. These three companies partnered with the tech-giant to form this initiative. The three partners will integrate Google Play Protect detection into their own scanning engines, to bring an extra layer of protection for all the apps.
