Google Investigating Search Results Disrespecting Pakistan Flag

Due to Pulwama Attack, Pakistan and India are not in good terms. With tension arising in two countries, some people spotted some wrong images in Google image search of the Pakistan flag. According to the people who reported the issue, when they search for “best toilet paper in the world”, Google UI showed results which were linking to Pakistan’s national flag.

Due to the deadly incident which took the life of 44 Indian Security personnel in Indian-occupied Kashmir, India is pointing fingers on Pakistan. However, this is not the only incident that has occurred after the Pulwama attack. Broadcasting Production Company IMG Reliance has also stopped Covering PSL 4 Following Pulwama Attack.

When the Pakistani Flag issue went viral on social media, Google Spokesperson responded to the queries and stated that:

“While we continue to investigate the matter, we have not found any evidence that Google Images was ranking the Pakistani flag in response to this particular search.”

This is not new! Previously Google searches returned some bad results. On the search for US President Donald Trump, pictures of Dog had appeared due to which Google had an excuse. Let’s see how Google will sort out the matter.
