Google Launches Gemini Spark AI Agent in Pakistan for AI Ultra Subscribers

Google has introduced its new Gemini Spark AI agent in Pakistan as part of its expansion across the Asia-Pacific region. The new tool is currently available to Google AI Ultra subscribers and is designed to automate routine digital tasks while working in the background.

According to Google, Gemini Spark can continue handling tasks even when a user’s laptop is closed or their mobile device is locked. The company says this marks a step forward from traditional AI assistants by allowing the system to complete tasks on its own after receiving instructions from the user.

The AI agent can help with a wide range of routine tasks. It can organize customer inquiries, process vendor invoices, manage schedules, collect travel information, and sort through documents. Google says the goal is to reduce the time users spend on repetitive work so they can focus on more important tasks.

One of Spark’s key features is its ability to assist with travel planning. It can read flight and hotel confirmation emails from Gmail, extract important details, and place them into a Google Sheet. It can also search for local events at a travel destination and automatically add suitable activities to free time slots in the user’s Google Calendar.

The AI agent can also support event planning. It can find RSVP responses in Gmail, organize dietary requirements into a table, and prepare summary emails for vendors. Users can review these drafts before sending them.

For personal finance and expense management, Gemini Spark can review digital invoices, detect subscription price increases, and notify users when free trial periods are about to expire. It can also prepare cancellation emails for subscriptions, allowing users to review and send them if needed.

Businesses may also benefit from the tool. Spark can scan incoming customer emails, draft replies, and suggest services or pricing information based on previous conversations. Users remain responsible for approving the responses before they are sent.

At present, Gemini Spark is available to Google AI Ultra subscribers in Pakistan and other Asia-Pacific markets. Google has confirmed that support for Google AI Pro subscribers will roll out over the coming weeks, bringing the new AI-powered automation features to a wider audience.
