Bored of watching same old Google’s webpage? Google to Change its Homepage for the First Time Since 1996. Since 1996, Google has the same simple homepage having its colorful logo and a search box. Now a white background incorporating the logo and tool box is about to change. It is rumored that Google’s interest and news based feed will be added to the homepage.
Personalized information available on Google’s mobile App and home screen page on Google’s Nexus and Pixel smartphones will be a part of new web experience.

Google to Change its Homepage for the First Time Since 1996

Shashi Thakur, VP of engineering at Google said:

“You’ll see cards with things like sports highlights, top news, engaging videos, new music, stories to read and more. And now, your feed will not only be based on your interactions with Google, but also factor in what’s trending in your area and around the world.”

This is a very good news for Google lovers as now they will be able to reach topics from the search results for sports, movies and celebrities. The search engine Google revealed that these new additions will be launched to US users in few Weeks. However it will take time to launch in globally.

Right now there are no details available regarding the outlook of new web page. It is also not disclosed that whether Google Assistant will be available on this page or not.

Google Now” on Chromebooks already has search box and the new feed so this is not new for Google. We are bored of the same old homepage of search engine so it will be a good experience. Let’s see how will the new Homepage of Google Looks like.
