The new Google Maps update introduces a multi-colored microphone button, that lets you issue out voice commands. Moreover, it will also use as “listening” animation that plays at the bottom of the screen when you’re speaking. For example, giving voice commands to Assistant happens all in the background, without taking users out of Google Maps. The same goes for calls, which no longer initiate the dialer app, but rather appear in a small Google Assistant pop up within Maps.
Recently, Google Maps collaborates with Redbus to provide users with all the necessary transport information required to travel between two cities. Redbus is an Online bus ticket booking platform and has announced that it has joined hands with Google Maps. Google has also rolled out another feature that will let you share the battery life of your mobile with friends.
