Google News Mobile App will now Support Two Languages

Google news will now support two languages at a time. The reason for adopting this bilingual feature is that there are many people who are not comfortable with English. This feature will help more than 60 percent of the people who have difficulty in speaking and reading any language. This feature will show up for Google News Mobile App.

With this new additions, users will be able to toggle between two languages. Among many other languages, Google will be supporting Hindi as well. Google bilingual feature is specially launched for mobile app users.

Google News Mobile App is Getting Bilingual

This feature will be available in more than 141 countries for both Android and iOS. The company is not launching this feature for desktop yet.

By supporting more than one language, people will find it easy to share their own views on the ongoing situation and issues. While telling about this upcoming feature, Google said:

“There’s still lots more to do to help connect people with quality and trustworthy news on the issues they care about, but we hope today’s update will make it easier to connect with different cultures and perspectives from the comfort of your device,”

Take Away:

Well, no doubt this feature is appreciable, however what i feel bad about is that why Urdu is always left behind? Why the company cannot facilitate Urdu speaking users? It should understand that alto of users who are using Google Maps are Urdu speaking as well. Unlike other apps, who have not given importance to Urdu, Google should think of introducing this language to in order to facilitate a group of people.
