Google Pixel 11 to Debut First 2nm Tensor G6 Chip Ahead of Apple’s iPhone 18 Launch

Google is all ready to make smartphone history with the launch of the Pixel 11 series next month. According to a new report, the upcoming Tensor G6 processor will be the first smartphone chip built using TSMC’s advanced 2nm manufacturing process. Some reports also suggest these later chips may use an enhanced version of TSMC’s 2nm process, offering even greater performance and power efficiency.

Interest in the Pixel 11 series continues to grow as its official launch approaches. Recent leaks have revealed new color options, possible pricing changes, and additional hardware details ahead of Google’s August event.

If the reports prove accurate, the Pixel 11 will not only introduce Google’s latest Tensor processor but also become the first smartphone to showcase TSMC’s next-generation 2nm chip technology.

While the Tensor G6 may not represent a dramatic leap in raw performance, its early adoption of advanced manufacturing technology highlights Google’s ambition to stay competitive in the premium smartphone market.
