Google to Launch New Phones Pixel and Pixel XL on October 4

As Google is planning to change the name of its brand from Nexus to Pixel. It has also been rumored that Google to Launch New Phones Pixel and Pixel XL on October 4. Along with the devices Google will also release Chromecast capable of 4K playback, Google Home, and Daydream VR headset.

Google to Launch New Phones Pixel and Pixel XL on October 4

The two HTC-built phones will reportedly be called the Pixel and Pixel XL. The Pixel will be the 5″ Sailfish device, while Pixel XL will be the 5.5″ Marlin.

Sailfish and Marlin would both feature quad-core Qualcomm processors, 4GB of RAM, and 12-megapixel cameras. The only difference between these two phones is Marlin’s larger screen and battery.

Google is also expected to unveil a Chromecast that can handle 4K content, as well as the company’s voice-activated Google Home wireless speaker. Most probably the the new Chromecast will be called either the Chromecast Plus or the Chromecast Ultra.

However it is not clear where the launch event will be held, nor what time it will begin. Moreover Pricing or release dates of Pixel and Pixel XL are not yet known.
