Government Establishes First e-Court in Rawalpindi
Keeping in view the world wide advancements in technology, Pakistan is also trying to improve its system with the help of latest technologies. In this regard, the Government of Pakistan is continuously introducing technologically updated measures in order to modernize the public sector of our country.
Along with e-Stamping, online CNIC system, Biometric attendance system, this time the Government has formed first E-court under federal; which has started working in Rawalpindi yesterday. This E- Court will record special cases from inside and outside of Pakistan and all the statements of witnesses through Skype.
Government Establishes First e-Court in Rawalpindi
The E-court has successfully recorded the statements of alomost five witnesses which also includes Sukkur National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Superintendent in Mudaraba case.
In this regard, Mr. Sohail Nasir, the honorable court judge, said that:
“The fundamental purpose of establishing this E-court system in Pakistan is to provide relief to the general masses.”
This is in fact a great initiative ever taken by the Government as it will greatly facilitate both the elderly and sick people of Pakistan. With establishment of E-court, people living abroad will also be facilitated as they will easily record their stance via a video link.
