Hands-on-Images Showing Google Pixel 9 Series Surface Online
Google Pixel 9 series has been in the rumor mill for the past few months. We have been getting leaks about this highly anticipated series regularly. Last month some hands-on images surfaced online showing the upcoming Google Pixel 9 Pro, and guess what? Today the same source is back with some more images. Pixel 9 Pro stars in these leaked hands-on images together with the vanilla Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Let’s dig into what these images reveal.
Google Pixel 9 Series To Include Three Models
The upcoming Google Pixel series will reportedly boast three models: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro & Pixel 9 XL. It is pertinent to mention that the Pixel 9 Pro XL’s name hasn’t been ‘confirmed’ yet. However, reports claim that Google will launch three high-end slab-style devices this year. The Pixel 9 will be the successor to the Pixel 8. The Pixel 9 Pro XL will be the successor to the Pixel 8 Pro, while the Pixel 9 Pro is tipped to be similar to the XL specs-wise but different in size. The handset’s size will be the same as that of the vanilla model. Let’s have a look at the leaked hands-on-images:
The Pixel 9 prototype shown in the above images has 12GB of RAM. However, the other models sport 16GB. The onboard storage of all three models is 128GB. However, these numbers may change as there is still time for the launch of this much-anticipated series. What probably won’t change will be the screen sizes. The Pixel 9 will be 6.24″, the Pixel 9 Pro will be 6.34″, and the Pixel 9 XL will be 6.73″.
Size-wise, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro are the same. However, Pixel 9 will sport much larger bezels as compared to other models. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL will boast three 50 MP cameras on the back. The vanilla Pixel 9 will have unsurprisingly a main camera and an ultrawide. The Pro models will also feature a periscope telephoto for 5x optical zoom.
As per reports, the three models will be powered by Google’s Tensor G4 SoC. The Pros will also support UWB. It is prominent in the images that the new design of the Pixel 9 series will lose the edge-to-edge ‘visor’ look on the rear for the camera island. Moreover, it will make the frame fully flat.
