HEC Offers 8000 Free Online Courses in Collaboration with COURSERA

HEC is now offering online courses for those students, who have secured laptop under Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme and who are interested in learning. The 8000 courses will be offered FREE OF COST on First Come First Serve Basis. All the students are encouraged to apply online by visiting http://www.dlsei.pk/.  The registration will be opened for all interested students on Tuesday, 2nd October, 2018 at 12:00 PM (noon). HEC Offers these 8000 Free Online Courses in Collaboration with COURSERA.

All the students can now avail this opportunity to acquire professional certifications from the top ranked International Universities via world’s largest online learning platform COURSERA. 

HEC Offers 8000 Free Online Courses with the Help of COURSERA

Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has partnered with Coursera.org to facilitate interested students with leading courses. Students can choose courses from Universities like STANFORD, WHARTON, UPENN, NORTHWESTERN, CORNELL, PRINCETON, UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, and many others across the Globe.

All these online courses will help the students to learn, enhance their skills, stand-out amongst their peers, accelerating their career to the next Level, or help them to get their dream job.

Eligibility Criteria

Only those students are eligible who have received laptop through the Prime Ministers Laptop Scheme or have status “Accepted for Merit list” at http://pmnls.hec.gov.pk/student_details.php  will be required to submit the application online through http://www.dlsei.pk/

Registration Instructions for Coursera:

Step 1 Students have to go to www.dlsei.pk

Step 2 Then they have to Click on Registration button

Step 3 After that, they have to enter CNIC, Email address & Mobile number for verification. In case they have a new mobile number, then they have to enter their previously registered HEC mobile number and check mark the empty box below it i.e. þ Send code to new mobile number. This way they will enter their new phone number.

Step 4  Students will receive codes on Mobile and Email address (registered with HEC database) Upon successful verification. After entering these codes, they will be taken to an online registration form

Step 5  Students have to fill in the required details and click submit upon completion

Step 6 Once the registration process is complete they will receive another email with Coursera Pakistan website link

Step 7 Students have to fill in the required fields & they will be successfully registered with Coursera Pakistan

Step 8  At this step the interested students can now select from a wide range of courses available at Coursera Pakistan absolutely FREE OF COST
