Artificially designed football pitches turn rain into drinking water for the children of schools in South Africa. These artificial pitches collect the rainwater and remove the harmful particles by hi-tech pitch filters. The water is then sent to the filtration device that is fixed on the side of the football pitch.
In South Africa, millions of people are affecting by the water crisis. Cape town was almost running out of water in 2018 after three of its lowest rainfall years on record. Climate change is the major reason for the drought in the region three times more likely.

We hope that these newly designed pitches will solve the major problem of polluted water that causes many diseases among the pupil of South Africa.
Each pitch provides filtered water to almost 2,200 people. Which is no doubt, free from impurities and ensure the good health of the people. In the country, now the nine fields have been installed.
The water is also being used to grow vegetables. By proving the healthy water, teachers have noticed that fewer pupils are getting sick. Moreover, school attendance is rising. Water scarcity is the main issue of South Africa but the polluted water is more dangerous than that.
