Honor 200 Series Expands with Powerful Processors and Potential Design Changes
The Honor 200 Lite may have just launched, but it seems the company isn’t done expanding its 200 family just yet. Leaks suggest the arrival of two more siblings – the Honor 200 and the Honor 200 Pro – and we’re getting exciting hints about their internal processors.
According to recent leaks from China, the Honor 200 will reportedly pack the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, while the Honor 200 Pro will step things up with the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This marks a significant leap compared to previous Honor devices like the 100 and 100 Pro, promising a major boost in performance and efficiency.

But the upgrades don’t stop there. Whispers suggest a significant redesign, particularly in the camera department. Compared to the familiar camera islands of the past, the Honor 200 and 200 Pro are expected to sport a completely different layout, hinting at potentially innovative camera setups.
Both phones have also likely received certification for sale in China, further fueling speculation about an imminent launch. Additionally, rumours claim support for 100W fast wired charging, ensuring rapid battery top-ups on the go.
We may get an official announcement sometime this month, the exact markets where these devices will be available remain a mystery. The Honor 200 Lite made its debut in Europe, but the 200 and 200 Pro might initially be exclusive to China.
Past rumours have painted a picture of even more exciting features. The 200 and 200 Pro could potentially boast a stunning quad-curved OLED display with a “1.5K” resolution, offering an immersive viewing experience. The Pro model might even take things a step further with dual selfie cameras housed within a unique pill-shaped cutout.
On the back, the primary camera will come with a variable aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharper photos. There will also be a telephoto lens.
With powerful processors, a potential design refresh, and exciting camera rumours, the Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro are shaping up to be compelling contenders in the smartphone market. Stay tuned for the official announcement to see if these leaks hold true and witness what Honor has in store for the next generation of its 200 series.
