How Pakistani Students can apply to Google Women Techmakers Program 2018

Google has given a good chance for Pakistani students to apply in Google Women Techmakers Program 2018. This tech-makers program is specifically for women because they are getting their place in technology like very other filed. Google is encouraging women of  Asia Pacific countries including Pakistan.

Google Women Techmakers Program 2018 started as Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship Program. Now Google is taking it to next level by accepting its vision of gender equality by accepting applications in the Computer Science department to support women in the field of science and technology.

Eligibility Criteria and Process:

Google Women Techmakers Program 2018 scholarship will be given to a group of bachelor level student as well as master level. It all depends upon academic performance, leadership, and role of women in the technology field.

It also depends upon luck and if you won the contest, you will get a scholarship amount. You can get a chance to go to the annual Women Techmakers Scholars’ Retreat in one of Google’s Asia Pacific offices in 2018. After that, the selected person will connect with fellow scholars, Google scholars and she can take a part in different workshops.

In order to apply, the applicant must be a female.

• At present, should be enrolled at an accredited university for the 2018-2019 academic year.
• All female students who are graduating in 2019 and after that are eligible to apply.
• Applicants must be studying computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Applicants should have a strong academic record.
• Applicants should have a great passion for an involvement of women in computer science.
