How to Get Verified on Instagram

Just a few days back Instagram rolled out the ability to request verification badges to users worldwide. After the spread of fake news etc, Instagram has announced a special process to get verified on Instagram.

So in order to get blue badges/getting verified, follow the following steps:

1.Head to your profile

Tap on the profile button on the bottom right corner.

2. Click on Settings

For heading to setting click on the three line on the top right or left corner.

Click the three lines button in the top right corner. You will get a settings button on the corner of your screen.

3. Scroll down to the Request Verification button

It’s under the Account menu in Settings. Click!

4. Fill the form

Enter the username and full name.

5. Upload ID picture

You need to take a picture of govt, ID card and upload it. It should show your name and date of birth.

6. Wait for notification

Instagram will notify you on completion of the request. You can look for a notification in your notification tab.
