It is 10 pm, I have an exam in the morning about which I haven’t read a word because I was busy shifting house and tending to house chores due to my brother’s wedding this December, still I am writing this article because it is my job to do so. Am I stressed? No Way! *Crying My Eyes Out*
Well in this scenario of chaos I bring to you 5 Ways of how to handle stress. And also how to decrease the general stress level in your life. Stay tunned buddies I am in it with you!
1. Know Why You Are Stressed
In times of stress, it is mostly that we don’t even know what we are stressing about. There are background reasons and there are foreground reasons. Reasons you cannot do anything about yet like ageing, or your unsatisfying body weight and on the other hand reasons, you can tend to right now like homework and job. All you need to do is sort out in your mind that what is it that is stressing you and then devise a plan to deal with it.
2. Prioritize Tasks
Long term plans are way better than short-term reflexes. You shouldn’t be on time but before time. I know this is one difficult job to do but this is that one secret to a stress-free life. Prioritize your tasks, most important ones first and moving down to the least important.
3. Look Out For The Distractions
You sat to work and found this really cool Instagram video, that led to another and yet another and without even noticing you just wasted an entire hour and I know all of us can relate to it!
Be very vigilant about your time! limit your distractions by distancing yourself from them

4. Have A Hobby
Have a relaxing hobby for yourself. It can be anything like mine is watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S or playing Dota 2. But know that you have to set a time limit to it as well. For example, I restrict myself to 1 episode or 1 game only.
Everything related to your physical and psychological health depends upon EXERCISE. Believe me, it is a miraculous medicine for the entire human body and soul. Go to your rooftop, or a park, or gym(I don’t prefer a gym) and take a walk 40 to 45 mins, do some stretching and you will feel your body and mind extracting all that stress out.
