Complete Guide: How to Make WhatsApp Video Call

The long awaited WhatsApp video calling option has been rolled out. Though the option is available at the beta version of the Android App. It is likely to be incorporated into other updated versions of iOS and other phones as well.

The Facebook owned messaging app, WhatsApp has kept its trend of introducing interesting new features. The video calling option is yet another such feature launched by WhatsApp.

Here’s How to Make WhatsApp Video Call

As the option is available for beta version so everyone won’t be able to make video call on WhatsApp. The app is not yet a part of the main build of the software.

To make a video call right now, both users should need to be on beta channels. If recipient is not the beta user, then he/she will get a Whatsapp message, requesting for the latest update of WhatsApp.

However beta Android users can make WhatsApp video call by following these steps:

  1. Go to WhatsApp.
  2. Open the window for your contact whom you like to call.
  3. In the top right corner, there is the regular sign for making a call.
  4. Due to the recent update, upon selecting this sign, the app will provide you the option to choose from the audio call or video call.
  5. Click the video call option. And here you go, you will be able to call your friend and see them as well.

The quality of the call is fine but you might notice a little pause for a 50 MBps wi-fi connection. Meanwhile, WhatsApp is taking feedback so, this matter will probably be fixed.
