Being a Facebook user, you must have noticed many people putting a long Facebook status that the company is going to make every Facebook post public. In your friends list many people are putting status to reject this new transformation. Not just this, the status also contains the reference of the law by which Facebook can get punishment for violating the privacy of their users. Interestingly this is all hoax and posting any such status or other privacy rules do not apply on Facebook.
How to Stop Facebook from Making your Posts Public?
With the status given below, people are defending their right to privacy.
“I do not give Facebook or any entities associated with Facebook permission to use my pictures, information, or posts, both past and future. By this statement, I give notice to Facebook it is strictly forbidden to disclose, copy, distribute, or take any other action against me based on this profile and/or its contents. The content of this profile is private and confidential information. The violation of privacy can be punished by law (UCC 1-308- 1 1 308-103 and the Rome Statute)”
Under the terms, Facebook can collect user data without any bar and use it for displaying any relevant advertisement to the respective user.
If you are still paranoid about your Facebook privacy, then you better go to settings and turn everything to only me, so that even your friends can’t see what you post.
