HTC has planned to develop a new Android phone that will be powered with blockchain technology. HTC blockchain powered phone will be named as Exodus that will feature a universal wallet and built-in hardware. This software will support cryptocurrencies and decentralized applications.

HTC has roped back the creator of its truth that is a digital headset, Phil Chen, that will lead to all blockchain and cryptocurrency related initiatives of HTC including Exodus.
HTC is planning to create a native blockchain network by phones which will be acting as nodes for cryptocurrency trading among users of the phone.
Telling about the integration of blockchain applications, Chen said:
“Through Exodus, we are excited to be supporting underlying protocols such as Bitcoin, Lightning Networks, Ethereum, Dfinity, and more. “We would like to support the entire blockchain ecosystem, and in the next few months we’ll be announcing many more exciting partnerships together.”

HTC also plans to accept cryptocurrency as a type of payment for the phone. Right now the price is not decided.
