HTC has unveiled the Desire 830, another smartphone in midrange series. The phone is successor to HTC 628 that we have reviewed a couple of week before. It has been designed to target the midrange spectrum in market and pocket friendly too. The HTC Desire 830 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow with sense 8 UI from HTC.

The smartphone offers some notable features including 5.5 FHD display clothed with Gorilla Glass protection, packed with 1.3/1.5 GHz octa-core chip coupled with 3GB RAM on board while the internal storage is 16GB.

From the camera section, HTC Desire 830 bring 13MP lens with OIS feature and 4MP UltraPixel shooter for clear and vibrant selfies. With that HTC desire 830 has employed Dual DOLBY Boom sound speaker fixed on the front. The inside Desire 830 is standard 2800mAh.

Display of HTC Desire 830:

The HTC Desire 830 has come up with 5.5 FHD display having 1080px resolution, while it is being protected by Gorilla Glass. Desire 830 with 1080p FHD give 424ppi that makes the display vibrant and well saturated. The sunlight readability is quite admirable, on the other hand, the brightness of display is pretty high and well controlled by light sensors.

The capacitive panel is smooth and soft enough. The HTC Desire 830 is complete plastic build with contrast colors gives decent feel to look. The weight of this device is 156 grams; still acceptable weight.

Speaking about The HTC Desire 830 design build, the upfront is packed with 5.5-inch display panel with DOLBY boom sound speaker at top and bottom.

The upper front side has 4MP Ultra Pixel selfies shooter along with couple of necessary sensors and LED notifications too. The bottom has nothing but boom sound speaker while no capacitive buttons are available.

The edges has variant sharp color contrast with front and back. Moving toward the top, we have 3.5mm audio jack, while at bottom side it has microUSB port. The right edge has volume keys and power button whereas left side has nothing on it.

The back cover has simple and decent display in which at top it is equipped with back camera and below that it has flash light and sensor. Name of HTC is mentioned on the center of back cover.

The HTC desire 830 is rich in memory category because it has 32GB ROM and 3GB RAM. Internal memory of 32 GB can also work fine without memory card moreover you can increase internal memory up to 256GB with the help of memory card. This is high spec device so big size games and videos will not make any issue.

It is featured with 3GB RAM which makes the processor faster plus high resolution games even 3D games runs smoothly on it. No lags and delays are observed while testing this smart phone.

Camera within HTC Desire 830:

The camera section is composed of 13 MP back camera and 4 MP ultra-pixel front camera further the good thing is that the front camera is capable of recording 1080p videos and both cameras have excellent results. Let’s look at both cameras in detail.

Voice Selfies are also active in HTC desire 830 which easily allows to take photos or videos using voice control but first you have to enable it in settings. We can take several selfies and combine them as a single picture via using photo booth.

The HTC Desire 830 is LTE enabled smartphone with the access of 3G/2G network also. It supports all the band in Pakistan and the speed limit over LTE network or 3G network is cat.4 150/50 Mbps.

We have App Tray or Application Manager for all the applications that are arranged in rows and columns further we can easily change the arrangement via the drop-down menu, create folders or we can totally customize the layout.

Processor of HTC Desire 830:

The HTC Desire 830 is mechanized with 1.3 GHZ Octa-Core processor which is based on the architecture of ARM Cortex-A53. Chipset of Media Tek MT6753M is featured which supports 1080p Full HD displays, along with Full HD video recording and playback.

The smartphone is featured with 3GB RAM and additionally it has 64 bit processor which makes it faster and allows the phone to display vibrant images and the main profit is it allows rendering of high graphics without heating the HTC desire.
