According to the China Compulsory Certification (CCC), HTC to Launch a Mid-Range Phablet with a Bezel-less Display Soon. Recently, HTC has filed with the CCC for its upcoming mid-range phablet namely HTC Ocean Harmony. The certification was awarded on December 4th.

As per as its specifications are concerned, it will come with 5.99-inch ‘bezel-less’ display, with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will also powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652. Moreover, it will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. This phablet will come in two variants. The other variant will feature Snapdragon 660.
This variant with Snapdragon 652 will cost $400. Whereas a more powerful model employing the Snapdragon 660 chipset will cost $560 USD. Moreover, the phablet will launch this month later in China. Then it will be available in other countries, hopefully in Pakistan as well. However, HTC has not revealed any information regarding this. But we will update you when we will get more information about it.
Recently, Google has announced that it is Buying HTC’s Smartphone Expertise for $1.1 Billion. HTC will continue onward with its own smartphone business even after sending a good portion of its talent and operations over to Google. With this deal, Google is putting a big bet on hardware and hopes to succeed with it. The deal is expected to be approved and closed by early 2018.
