HTC to launch a Mid-range Smartphone, HTC Zara

HTC is now working on another mid-range Smartphone, HTC Zara. The design of the handset is borrowed by the previous HTC phones. The front resembles the One with its brushed aluminium, BoomSound speakers and black coating; the shell harks back to the One X and One X+.

This mid-range concoction comes with a 4.5-inch display and qHD resolution (940 x 560 pixels) and inside of it are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core SoC and 1 GB of RAM. There’s just 8 GB of onboard storage, but there’s a microSD card slot capable of receiving an extra 64 GB. It has a 2,100 mAh built-in battery; it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Beanupgrade and has 8 Mpx camera sensors and an LED flash.

This Smartphone is scheduled to appear in the fourth quarter.
