Huawei is in talks with some of US telecom companies regarding licensing its 5G network technology to them. The operator which was blacklisted by Trump in US is again opening up its arms with a hope to provide better Huawei 5G Technology to the US. Huawei revealed that many US firms have shown their interests in the long term and short term deals. However, the company has not revealed the exact number of clients who want to be part of 5G licencing.
US companies are Interested in Huawei 5G Technology
Vincent Pang, senior vice president and board director at Huawei said:
“There are some companies talking to us, but it would take a long journey to really finalise everything, “They have shown interest,”
Why Huawei was Blacklisted from the US?
US government has a fear that Huawei might be spying on the customers by providing its services in the US. However, this allegation was false and Huawei till now kept on denying it. Many analysts said that it was just a matter of jealousy from ever blooming Chins that US misguided people regarding its most established firm, Huawei. Well, right now there are no US 5G providers and Ericson and Nokia are quite expensive, so Huawei is getting a lead once again.
Is the Fuss Over now?
It seems like the fuss is over and now US companies are taking interests in Huawei Once again. Of course, they should as the Chinese tech giant has spent billions to develop its 5G technology since 2009. Huawei is one of the most foreseeing firms, due to which in no time it has gathered a lot of customer base in terms of its devices and equipment.
We cannot comment that whether US companies will purchase Huawei 5G technology or not but I feel as far as there is tension between the government and the Chinese tech giants, it isn’t possible. Mat be government is thinking to loosen the rules for Huawei or it has finally found out how much Huawei is important for the telecom firms operating in the US.
