Huawei is back in market with their new device “Honor 6X” which has recently launched in Pakistan. Honor 6X is the updated version of Honor 5X which was a successful device of Huawei. Huawei Honor 6X has come up with dual back camera lens that are 12MP and 2MP while front camera has 8MP camera. It has 2.1 GHz octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM further the power house has fixed battery of 3340 mAh. It runs android version 6.0 (Marshmallow) with EMUI interface. Honor 6X is 5.5 inches LTE enabled device with the access of dual SIM while fingerprint scanner and fast charging option is also available in it.

It has the best display with top-notch quality of icons and color quality further it is layered with 2.5D curved glass for its protection.

Best thing of Huawei Honor 6X is its multi-touch that has scored full 10 points. Mostly the mid-range smart phones scores 5 points in multi-touch test but honor 6X has blown away us with its full touch support.

Huawei Honor 6X is slim and sleek device of Huawei and a very light weight device also. The dimensions are 150.9 x 76.2 x 8.2 mm and weight is only 162 grams although it contains 3340 mAh fixed battery but still a very easy to carry device which is very impressive.

The front body of Honor 6X resembles liitle bit with IPhone but rest of the body is totally different. The front screen is 5.5 inches which has ear piece, front camera and LED notification light at its top. Down side has only name of “honor” mentioned on it plus the function keys are working under the screen. A dull golden bezel layer has covered the whole device from every corner.

Edges of honor 6X are packed with connectivity ports because it has fixed back cover. One edge of honor 6X has volume keys and power button while other one has SIM jacket. Top side of honor 6x has mic and 3.5mm audio jack while down side has microUSB connector version 2.0 and dual speakers.

Back Body of honor 6X is different because it has dual camera lens with LED flash light. The camera lenses at back body are 12MP and 2MP while fingerprint scanner is also present just down to camera lenses. The interface of camera is very easy to use and by swiping to the left side it takes you to the general camera settings. Swiping right it will take you to its main mode settings which are beauty mode, night shot, manual mode and scanning documents.

The results are very brilliant because it has fast focus and captures very catchy and impressive images. Pictures have very good details especially for a mid-range phone. Color accuracy, depth field, sharpness and brightness are very well balance and in mid-range devices it has the best camera.

Front Camera of Huawei Honor 6X:

Front camera of Huawei Honor 6X has 8MP lens with screen flash light. It doesn’t have any extra flash light for front facings selfie while it can record videos in high quality. Beauty mode does a wonderful job in Honor 6X as it has adjustable options of brightness and softness.

The results of front camera are very better than the previous devices of Huawei. 8MP lens for front camera is the best choice yet. It automatically softens and brighten your selfie which give us very good results. Intakes of pictures are very well and brightness is also balanced.

Connectivity of Huawei Honor 6X:

Huawei Honor 6X is 4G enabled device also with the access of 3G and 2G networks. The supportable speed of 4G is LTE Cat4 150/50 Mbps and 3G is HSPA+ 42.2/5.76 Mbps. It is supportive for all the bandwidths of networks in Pakistan.

With LTE connectivity it is providing us some more connectivity’s such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Fm Radio. Wi-Fi supports the standards of 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot while Bluetooth version is 4.1.

It is dual SIM enabled device further we can increase its internal memory up to 256GB by inserting memory card in SIM 2 plot.

Battery Performance of Huawei Honor 6X:

Honor 6X supports the powerful battery of Li-ion which is 3340 mAh and it is present inside the fixed back cover of device. It provides us enough efficient time to play with the device easily. The handset has chip set of HiSilicon Kirin which provides us battery saving feature also.

The device screen is 5.5 inches which is normal size so it will consume less power as compare to other devices. Excessive usage of 4G,3G and 3D games can drain the battery very quickly otherwise it is totally fine.

Interface of Huawei Honor 6X :

The honor 6X runs android version 6.0 (Marshmallow) with the interface of Emotion UI 4.1. It should have latest android version 7.0 (nougat) and up til now we have not received any update regarding nougat version. Still its interface is one of the best and organized interfaces as compare to Infinix and QMobile devices.

Let’s roll from the lock screen which has different wallpapers those changes automatically after every few seconds. Status bar at lock screen is present at top side which shows the status of connectivity points, SIM and battery. At down side date and time are displayed while the camera option is present at the right side.

The main screen has date and time widget at its top while below to it we have Google search bar. After it some applications are arranged in the form of rows and columns. It doesn’t have any application manager separate just a slider bar is available to acess all the applications.

Many bloatware applications are already installed on it such as mirror, hi care, hi game, booking.com, true caller and game loft. Themes application is also available via which we can change the color and display of Honor 6X.

Processor of Huawei Honor 6X:

Huawei Honor 6X has Octa-Core 2.1GHz 64-bit type processor which is built on the architecture of ARM Cortex-A53. The chip set which is inserted in honor 6X is HiSilicon Kirin 655. The chip set is highly excellent performing chip and it is better than any quad-core processor.

This chip set has a modem which works mainly in analog signals such as mobile signals. So with it we can receive better signal coverage as compare to any other device. We have not observed any kind of heating issue in it while charging it or using camera.

Antutu Benchmarking of Huawei Honor 6X:

Antutu Bench marking has played an important role to check the device performance. We have tested it and it has scored 55987 points which is very satisfactory.

Vellamo Benchmarking for Huawei Honor 6X:

Vellamo Bench marking conducts three tests which are multi-core test, metal test and chrome browser test. Multi-core test has scored 1994 points, metal has scored 1495 points and chrome browser scored 3219 points.
