Huawei Honor 8 Lite Quietly Launches With Android 7.0 Nougat

As we have told you earlier about some rumors that claimed that Huawei will launch its affordable smartphone Honor 8 Lite at the upcoming technology event MWC. But all these rumors set to be false as Huawei Honor 8 Lite launches in Europe. Huawei has quietly launched its low priced smartphone without any notification and event.

The smartphone looks more identical to its predecessor, Honor 8. As per its design, it features a glass back along with a metal frame. Currently the phone is available in white and black color. But don’t worry Huawei will launch the smartphone in more colors like gold and blue.

Honor 8 was equipped with some extraordinary features and specifications. Same is the case with Honor 8 Lite. The new phone is equipped with a 5.2-inch Full HD display. More, the phone is powered by the Kirin 655 chipset. If we talk about its RAM, it has 3 GB of RAM but only has 16 GB of storage. We can say that it is the drawback of the phone that it less internal storage. Further, you can expand the storage up to 128 GB via microSD card.

There is also a bad news for camera lover. Unlike the Honor 8, the new phone only has a single 12 MP sensor at the back and an f/2.2 aperture. More for selfie lover, it has 8 MP front camera. Keeping in mind the security of users, the phone also has a fingerprint scanner.

The most promising features of the phone are Android Nougat 7.0 OS and EMUI 5.0 Interface

As we have told you earlier that the phone may have Android Nougat operating system along with EMUI 5.0 interface. Luckily, the phone comes with both these features. So users can enjoy the fast performance of phone with advanced features of EMUI 5.0.

The phone has a powerful 3000 mAh battery. More the phone is available in just €269. But we are still unclear about the launch date and price in other markets.
