Huawei Mate 20 & Mate 20 Pro to Come with Android 9.0 Pie

The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are getting ready to appear somewhere in October. However, before two months of the launch the Huawei Mate 20 & Mate 20 Pro have received their official certifications in Europe.

Yes dear readers, Eurasian Economic Comission (EEC) has certified the Huawei Mate 20 Pro & Huawei Mate 20 with Android 9.0 Pie.

Huawei Mate 20 & Mate 20 Pro will be Equipped with Android 9.0 Pie

It is revealed that he Huawei Mate 20 uses the number HMA-L29 and the Mate 20 Pro goes by LYA-L29. The two devices will make use of the upcoming EMUI 9.0. Currently, it is not clear that what kind of UI modifications and extra features this will bring. The company is not set to reveal its new UI until the beginning of September at IFA in Berlin.

 

The certification agency reveals that the Huawei’s Mate 20 will be one of the first set of smartphones to come with Android 9.0 Pie.

Both the Huawei Mate 20 & Mate 20 Pro are expected to come with HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC under the hood, paired with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Moreover, one of the smartphones is rumored to have the latest in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. The rumors said that the Mate 20 will feature a 6.28-inch AMOLED display and 4,200mAh battery.

The upcoming Huawei Y9 (2019) also received its certification from Eurasian Economic Commision in the region with Android 8.0 Oreo pre-installed.
