Huawei Mate 20X 5G Edition Gets 3C Certification
The smartphone maker, Huawei is not coming slow. Despite the US Ban, the company hasn’t stopped making new handsets. The Mate 20X 5G recently got certified in China at 3C.
According to the previous reports, the Mate 20X 5G will feature a bright and large 7.2-inch display. It will come paired with 8GB of RAM. In addition to that, the handset will come with a triple camera setup identical to the one on the Mate 20 Pro. The previous hands-on-video also showed the few angles of the Mate 20 X, prominently highlighting a 5G logo on its backside. Moreover, the handset will boast a 4,200 mAh battery cell to keep the lights on. It will also come with a quicker 40W Super Charge support.
Huawei foldable Mate X and the giant Mate 20 X 5G will come with Huawei’s own Balong 5000 modem. This modem is compatible with the HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC and will require more physical space within the Mate 20 X. That’s why the company has reduced the battery size to 4,200 mAh as compared to the standard 5,000 mAh cell in the 4G version. Moreover, Mate 20 X 5G will run EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0. It will pack 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via Nano-Memory Card.
There had been no words regarding the launch date yet. However, 3C Certification hints that the launch seems imminent. Let’s see what comes next. Till then, stay tuned.
