Huawei has quietly introduced its new budget-friendly smartphone, the Huawei nova Y74, in global markets. The device arrives nearly a year after the launch of the nova Y73 and focuses on delivering long battery life, a large display, and practical features at an affordable price point.

The nova Y74 comes with a 6.67-inch LCD display that offers a smooth viewing experience thanks to its 90Hz refresh rate. The screen features HD+ resolution and can reach a peak brightness of up to 850 nits, making it easier to use outdoors and in bright environments. The large display provides a comfortable experience for watching videos, browsing social media, and playing casual games.

One of the biggest highlights of the Huawei nova Y74 is its large 6,620mAh battery. With a battery of this size, users can expect extended usage without worrying about frequent charging. According to Huawei, the phone can deliver up to 25 hours of online video playback on a single charge. This makes it a suitable option for users who spend a lot of time streaming content or using their phones throughout the day.

To complement the large battery, Huawei has included support for 40W wired fast charging. This allows users to recharge the device more quickly and spend less time connected to a charger. The combination of a high-capacity battery and fast charging support makes the nova Y74 one of the more attractive options in the budget smartphone segment.

Huawei has not officially revealed the processor powering the device. However, industry reports suggest that the smartphone may use a Kirin 800-series chipset, similar to the Huawei Enjoy 90 Plus, which was launched in China earlier this year.
