Huawei P20 Series Starts Receiving EMUI 9 Update

We all know that Huawei announced the EMUI 9 at IFA 2018 which is the major update to the Android-Based Operating System. Recently, the Chinese Huawei P20 Series started receiving the latest EMUI 9 Update. However, there are still no words about its global rollout yet. So, it means that international Huawei P20 users will have to wait in order to get the EMUI Update.

EMUI 9 Brings New UI & Gesture-Based Navigation For Huawei P20 Series

EMUI 9.0 offers a highly improved user experience.  It performs 12.9 percent faster than its predecessors. In addition to that, it supports faster app launch speeds. For example, EMUI 9 launches Instagram 12 percent faster and Spotify 11 percent faster than its predecessors. Furthermore, the update has brought a new user interface for the Huawei P20 Users. It also offers Gesture-based navigation and GPU Turbo for an improved gaming experience. It also supports touchscreen responsiveness, network connectivity, the Uninterrupted Gaming mode, and more.

Moreover, EMUI 9 comes with GPU Turbo 2.0 that supports even more games and even at a greater capacity. The version optimizes high workloads. In addition to this, it gives the devices a performance boost on demand while reducing power consumption. One of the major features of EMUI 9.0 is HiVision.  It enables the camera app to recognize major landmarks and famous paintings. After that, it provides users with information regarding them using its augmented reality capability.

Furthermore, it features a new Digital Balance dashboard. The new dashboard has the ability to track device usage metrics. It allows users to set usage quota for each app. In this way, it helps users to relax before heading to bed. It delivers a user-friendly experience. Furthermore, Huawei has become one of the first smartphone makers to launch a custom OS that is based on Android Pie. This version provides a quality experience to all its users.
