The University of Management and Technology (UMT) organized its annual ‘Career Fair 2016′, on November 16,2016. The theme of fair was ‘Campus to Corporate’. Huawei Participated in UMT Job Fair to Pick New Talent.
A great number of fresh graduates and other students packed to the venue in order to submit their CVs and to start their professional careers.

Huawei Pakistan also visited the career fair in University of Management and Technology (UMT) . The annual employment drive is a new plan of Huawei with goal of recruiting the talent for Pakistan’s leading telecommunication company by giving chance to the brilliant and talented students in universities.
The company is already trying to empower its youth by bringing Pakistani singing competition among youth. It intends to lead market through involvement of ideas from youth.
In job fair, Huawei set up a desk to guide graduates about scenarios of joining their prestigious organization. Huawei has further plans to recruit top graduates of universities as management trainees and polish their abilities.
Huawei currently employs more than 170,000 employees around the globe. They will hire fresh graduates on spotting talent in them.

In this way students came to know about the Huawei’s working mechanism, management, corporate structure, organization environment and level of flexibility to welcome the new individuals.
Huawei plans to guide the students about current projects, innovations and accomplishments in the field of technology and business. Students would also get the know how about the level of which they would be able to polish their skills and get benefited from the opportunity to grow in future.

On the first day of the job fair, Huawei desk received a large number of resumes from students who guaranteed their interests in joining the organization. As far as the global standing and brand name of company is concerned, It would cautiously go through the student’s resumes and shortlist them according to their abilities.
Huawei believes that there is no substitute to fresh knowledge of youth which can do wonders when light of experience falls upon it. such events are great opportunity for both the students as well as companies, as the both parties become more aware of each other’s preferences.
