Huawei Ranked 2nd in Global Smartphone Shipment Despite US/China Trade Uncertainty
Just like last year, Huawei has secured the second position in global smartphone shipment market Q2 2019. Despite the US ban, the company secured the second position as one of the top smartphone sellers, whereas the Korean tech giant Samsung is leading the race. However, the status symbol, Apple secured the third position, which would be alarming, and all the efforts of President Donald Trump have gone in vain. Thought we were expecting that Huawei will lose its customers due to all this happening from last some months. Unexpectedly, Huawei Global Smartphone shipment surges, securing the second position.
Even after all the fuss created by the US, the Chinese tech giant has witnessed a boost in its sales. The global smartphone sales fell 2.6 percent however, has stabilised after several quarters decline. Samsung market share increased to 22 percent whereas Huawei market share was 17 percent, and Apple stood at 11 percent.
