Huawei Y5 2019 Debuts With Helio A22 SoC

There had been a lot of rumors swirling around us regarding the Huawei Y5 2019 since last month. The good part of the news is that the handset went official earlier today. It is the same as that of Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 but features a smaller screen, lesser RAM, and a low-res selfie camera as compared to that.

The newly launched Y5 2019 features a 5.71-inch screen with a good screen to body ratio. The handset comes with 2GB RAM that is less than that of Y6 Pros. In addition to that, the smartphone sports a 5MP front camera. The handset is exactly the same in all aspects other than these above-mentioned features.

The Huawei Y5 2019 is also powered by Helio A22 SoC like Y6 Pro 2019. It runs Android Pie-based EMUI 9 straight out-of-the-box. In addition to that, the handset is being offered in two different 16GB and 32GB storage options. Moreover, it has a dedicated slot for a microSD card that allows storage expansion by up to 512GB.

The Y5 2019 boasts a 13MP rear camera and comes with a 3,020 mAh battery cell to keep the lights on. Furthermore, the battery of the handset draws power from a micro USB port. The Huawei Y5 2019 Color Options Include Midnight Black, Modern Black, Amber Brown, and Sapphire Blue. All other models come with a faux-leather finish except the Blue variant.
