Huawei has just quietly launched its one of the Y-series smartphones as it has launched earlier. Few days earlier, Huawei has quietly launched Y3 on its official website. Huawei Y5 Prime 2018 is a relatively compact handset, measuring 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm. The phone has a 5.45-inch HD+ display. Furthermore, you will get 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. However, you can expand the memory via microSD. Interestingly enough, Huawei decided not to share the make and model of the chipset, inside the Y5 Prime 2018. However earlier leaks suggest it has a quad-core CPU setup at its disposal, running at a rather modes 1.5 Ghz. But it is just rumor.

For camera conscious users, Huawei Y5 Prime 2018 consists of a 13MP snapper on the back and a 5MP one on the front. Furthermore, the phone also has a Face unlock feature. However, it is not currently available in phone but it might come in a future software update. Speaking of software, Huawei Y5 Prime 2018 runs Android 8.1 out of the box, complete with EMUI on top. The phone has a sealed-in powerful battery of 3020 mAh. The battery is enabled with Power Saving 6.0 technology, Huawei boasts up to 62 hours of continuous music playback and 13hours of video from a single charge.

Huawei has not confirmed the pricing and availability detail yet. However, it will be a mid-range smartphone. Furthermore, Huawei Y5 Prime 2018 will come in Black, Blue and Gold.
