Huawei launches its new Smartphone Huawei Y6 II which is updated version of Huawei Y6 and Huawei Y6 pro. Huawei Y6 II has 5.5” large HD IPS display and bigger than its previous versions. Architecture of the smartphone is packed with1.2 octa core processor using its own chipset. Huawei Y6 II works on android 6.0 (marshmallow) with the updated EMUI 4.1. The smartphone has 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM, it provides the facility of external micro SD card support up-to 128GB, a good combination of storage to store your important data like documents, multimedia, and etc.

Huawei Y6 II is armed with rear and front camera. The rear camera captures your moments with 13.0MP pixels and the front camera which is usually use for the selfie is 8.0MP.

Display of Huawei Y6II:

Huawei Y6 II has 5.5” IPS large display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and 320 dpi. Functional keys are inside the display screen and the screen is multi touch.

The smartphone brings attractive icons that are arranged in a user friendly environment. Huawei Y6 II has beautiful colors and different widgets are displayed on the home screen, widgets and icons can be re-arranged.

Design and Display of Huawei Y6II:

Huawei Y6 II has architected on 153x76x8mm dimensions and 168g weight. The smartphone has 5.5” large HD IPS display with smooth touch screen and screen to body ration is ~70.1%. Functional keys are inside the display screen, notification light on the top right side of the mobile. on the opposite side; there is front camera, on the less distance proximity sensor also there.

Shiny edges enhance the beauty of the Huawei Y6 II. The right edge contains power/lock and volume keys. At the bottom edge of the smartphone speakers are mounted while the is USB/charging port between the speakers.

Headphone jack is on the top edge of the Huawei Y6 II. There is nothing on the left edge of the mobile.

Rear camera is on the back side at the top left corner, below the rear camera and flash light is housed and there is nothing on the back side of the mobile except a Huawei logo in the center of the mobile. Huawei Y6II and Huawei Y6 pro both look same smartphone only with one slightly difference of rear camera and flash light positions.

Huawei Y6II is midrange device with 2GB RAM which is sufficient to run your apps, playing games, and to perform multi-tasking actions, along with the 2GB RAM the 16GB internal storage to save your important data like videos, music, pictures and documents. However, Huawei Y6II has given an option of external micro SD card slot which supports up-to 128 GB micro SD card.

Camera within Huawei Y6II:

Huawei Y6 II carries 13 MP rear camera. The rear camera of Huawei Y6 is same as its predecessor’s camera Huawei Y6 pro, but the front camera has now upgraded to 8.0 MP.  Videos can be record at 1080 pixels.

The rear camera with HDR and panorama modes. Different effects in the camera setting that can be set according to the situation.

Flash light is below the rear camera. Rear camera has different resolution options like FHD, HD, VGA, QVGA and MMS.

Rear Camera of Huawei Y6II:

The smartphone has 13.0 MP rear camera which capture your moments in good quality and the resolution of the camera is 4160 x 3120 with native ratio of 4:3. The rear camera brings impressive features like HDR mode, panorama mode, GEO tagging, All focus, watermark and professional mode.

In professional mode user can set manual setting according to the condition. You can capture your pictures using different effects. Videos can also be record in quality.

Front Camera of Huawei Y6II:

Huawei Y6 II has 8.0MP (3264×2448) front camera with no front flash light. Batter picture quality of Huawei Y6 II as compare to the quality of Huawei Y6 pro’s front camera because it has 5MP front camera and Huawei Y6 II has 8.0MP with different features like beauty mode and makeup mode. Front camera also provides the panorama mode.

Network / Connectivity of Huawei Y6II:

Huawei Y6 II brings Dual sim functionality with 4G LTE support. The smartphone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot and USB connectivity options.

Wi-Fi works on b/g/n standards. The version of Bluetooth is 4.0 and the USB port is used to transfer data.

Battery Performance of Huawei Y6II:

Huawei Y6 II is boosted up Li-ion 3000mAh fixed battery. It gives excellent battery time. The smartphone works for 280 hours standby, talk-time of 12 hours and music play time is up-to 28 hours. The battery of Huawei Y6 pro was Li-ion 4000mAh.

Interface of Huawei Y6II:

Huawei Y6 II is powered on with the android 6.0 (marshmallow). Huawei usually uses its on interface known as EMUI, in this smartphone Huawei uses EMUI 4.1 version of its interface. This is updated version of EMUI 3.1 which used in Huawei Y6.

The smartphone starts with the lock screen and camera shortcut is at the bottom of the mobile on right side. Swipe to unlock the screen, you will find by default set icons on the main screen, widget on the top of the screen.

On the top of the screen there is drop down menu which is divide into two parts one is notification menu and other is shortcut menu.

Notification menu notify you about messages, missed calls, and other alerts, while shortcut menu consist on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screen rotation and etc.

Home screen can adjust with 2 different styles. Functional keys are set into the front screen.

Huawei Y6II Processor:

Huawei Y6II has employed 1.2 octa core Processor and chipset model is Kirin 620 with 2GB RAM. This is good combination of processor which helps to perform different tasks at a time and prevent to the problem of hanging.

Huawei Y6II Antutu Benchmark Score:

Antutu benchmark gave 30,838 points to Huawei Y6 II which is very good for a smartphone. Antutu benchmark test give us the complete information about the storage, CPU, display, camera and etc.

Huawei Y6II Vellamo Benchmark Score :

Multicore of Huawei Y6 II got 1315 points which are excellent for a midrange smartphone. For single core performance, Huawei Y6II got 932 points which shows the efficiency of device. Vellamo tested the browser and gave 2130 points that is good though. Huawei Y6 II beaten Samsung Galaxy nexus in all above three tests mentioned in Vellamo Benchmark test.
