That is not a good news for those who have the handset of Huawei Honor 8 and was hoping to see Android 8.0 Oreo. So the users of handset will be definitely disappointed as Huawei has confirmed that.
Huawei’s Honor 8 Will Not Support the Android 8.0 Oreo Update
Honor India account has tweeted that a company rep has confirmed that the phone will not be eligible for the Oreo update due to the limitations of hardware and software.
The statement reads:
“we can understand your concern. However, we regret to inform you that Honor 8 is not compatible for Android Oreo update due to hardware and software limitations. We always work for our customers and we are really glad to have you as an Honor customer. Inconvenience is regretted.”
Back in October 2017, the company were suggesting that they were looking into that possibility. But now it is very disappointing that company is not going to do anything in this regard.
