Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) along with Federal Investigation agency (FIA) conducted a successful raid in Karachi and seized operational illegal VoIP gateway exchanges. this time Illegal VoIP Gateway Exchanges Unearthed in Karachi.

According to details PTA and FIA teams carried out a raid at Khudadad Colony, Karachi. The grey equipment confiscated from the place included two 32 port GSM gateways, four 16 port GSM gateways and number of accessories. During the raid one person was arrested and is in the custody of FIA for further investigation.

The successful raids against the grey operators were made possible because of continuous monitoring, commitment and persistent efforts by PTA in curbing the menace of grey traffic thus curtailing the loss to the national exchequer because of grey traffickers in the country.
