Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) along with Federal Investigation agency (FIA) conducted a successful raid at Rehman Park Lahore and confiscated operational illegal VoIP gateway exchange.

As Illegal VoIP Gateway Exchanges Unearthed in Lahore this time. According to details PTA and FIA teams carried out a raid at Rehman Park Lahore. The grey equipment confiscated from the place included a desktop PC, 2 PTCL modems and few SIMs and number of accessories. During the raid one person was arrested and is in the custody of FIA for further investigation.

The successful raids against the grey operators were made possible because of continuous monitoring, commitment and persistent efforts by PTA in curbing the menace of grey traffic thus curtailing the loss to the national exchequer because of grey traffickers in the country.
