Instagram For Android to Launch Pinterest Inspired Collection Feature Soon

Instagram keeps on copying famous social media platforms and in doing so it collects the prime features from all the app, hence getting better day by day. This time Instagram has copied Pinterest by introducing “collections feature”. Instagram collection feature will allow users to organize their saved posts into groups and later on share these collections with friends.

Instagram For Android Introduces Another new Feature copied from Pinterest

Other people will also allow people to add these collections in their own posts provided the owner makes it public. This new feature is found by a software developer Jane Manchun Wong in code inside Instagram for Android.

Right now, it is not revealed that when this feature will roll out. The best thing is that collection owners would even be able to even grant permission for other Instagram users to contribute to their public.

Moreover, it has been reported that Instagram is testing a donation sticker that will appear in its Stories feature. That will offer fundraising and donation tools for charity or personal reasons. It seems that the feature will work similar to fundraising and donation tools of Facebook. Since 2015, Facebook is working on such fundraising tools and recently it has dropped fees associated with those donations.

Instagram has become much more than just a regular picture sharing platform. It is evident from the new feature launched by the platform on and off.
